Build Vision Quest—an AI-powered image classifier that uses machine learning to recognize objects in photos. Using TensorFlow.js and React, you'll start by exploring pre-trained models like MobileNet, then train your own custom classifiers on categories you choose. By the end of camp, your AI application will be live on the web, ready to classify images and showcase your machine learning skills.
This isn't just following a tutorial—you're the ML engineer. You'll curate training datasets, configure model parameters, evaluate accuracy, and make decisions about what your AI should recognize. Every model you train teaches you how real ML engineers build intelligent systems, and every prediction brings you closer to understanding how AI sees the world.
